Digital Will Locker is an offline-first, AES-256 encrypted digital vault application for storing wills, documents, payment cards, and emergency contact information. The app operates entirely on your device with zero cloud storage.

2. User Responsibilities

• Keep your master password and 12-word recovery phrase safe — we cannot recover them
• Ensure documents stored are legally valid in your jurisdiction
• Keep your device secure and updated
• Configure Dead Man's Switch check-in intervals responsibly
• Back up your vault file regularly to prevent data loss
• You are responsible for all activity under your vault

We offer a direct APK download for Android users. By installing the APK you agree to:

• Understand the APK is the same app as available in app stores
• Keep the app updated by checking our website for new versions

5. AI Features

The optional AI features use the Groq API service. By using these features you agree to Groq's terms of service at groq.com/terms. AI responses are for informational purposes only and should not be used as legal, medical, or financial advice.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Digital Will Locker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We strongly recommend:

• Keeping physical backups of important documents
• Not relying solely on our app for critical legal documents

• Storing your 12-word recovery phrase in multiple secure locations

7. Limitation of Liability

Since all data is stored locally on your device, we cannot be held responsible for data loss due to device failure, forgotten passwords, or lost recovery phrases. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

8. Prohibited Uses

• Using the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempting to reverse engineer or crack the encryption
• Storing content that violates applicable laws
• Reselling or redistributing the app

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Your subscription can be cancelled through the respective app store. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
